Our Story

The inspiration for MindGuard came from my own concerns about brain health. As a combat athlete, I’ve faced my fair share of concussions and repetitive brain trauma. Wanting to protect my brain and prevent long-term damage, I began delving into research to uncover what I could do and what I should be taking. Several key ingredients stood out, and they eventually became the foundation of MindGuard.

One of the first ingredients I discovered was Lion’s Mane mushroom. Its potential for repairing and maintaining brain health was incredibly promising, and I’ve been taking it consistently for over five years. Next came CBD oil. When I first began stocking CBD at my martial arts gym, I wanted to ensure I was offering something I truly believed in. The more I learned about CBD’s neuroprotective potential, the more convinced I became of its value. I started taking CBD oil regularly, especially after hard sparring sessions, to support my recovery and overall brain health.

After some discussions within the hemp industry, the idea of creating a supplement specifically for combat athletes began to take shape. We explored different ingredients that could work synergistically for an all-in-one brain health formula. That’s when we introduced activated organic turmeric, known for its ability to combat neuroinflammation, along with hemp seed oil for its brain-nourishing omega-3s, and C8 MCT oil to provide quick, clean energy for cognitive function.

With the formulation complete, MindGuard was born—a powerful blend designed to support brain health, protect against long-term damage, and enhance cognitive performance. We launched MindGuard in combat gyms and supplement stores, sharing our mission to help others safeguard their brains just as I sought to protect mine.
